| New Dawn | I have come up on this thread too. I have heard several accusations against Kluure for being the same person as MatCauthon before but never seen any proof. (And sharing the same IP address once in a while is not proof. If that was the case then MatCauthon and stamar would be the same person judged by the IP (172.56.31.221) recently used by MatCauthon) And MatCauthon is not scrambling his IP address. He's just receiving different addresses at different times from his internet provider. MatCauthon has 'talked' the Wheel of Time language consistently during the time I've seend him here. (for whatever reason) Kluure has been open about his 3 accounts and never to my knowledge used them to gain anything (except enabling a slightly faster start of torunaments). He has several times denied that he and MatC is the same person contrary to what TimmyF said. They have, in my opinion, different styles of play. Several of Kluure's IP-addresses goes to Rady Children's Hospital in SanDiego - which uses Cox Communications as it's ISP. So I don't see that the Cox address would prove anyhting that Seallem suggests.

It’s well known that Matt Kluure plays three accounts that he admits to, and the coincidentally (?) named MatCautheon. And every time it’s mentioned that Kluure plays the MatCautheon account, he never ever denies it. Good for him for not wanting to outright lie and deny, but this isn’t the first time the IP addresses have lined up. Look at MatC’s IP history. Almost always different, why is he using an IP scrambler unless he’s hiding something?

That is it. The scourge or Timmy and Jbugs is the entire reason we have the Hawkins Trial tourny and the Ooks Tourny. it was the only way to force those guys to play as everyman for themselves. The site owned agreed and that is why he created those tournaments, specifically because of timmyF and jBugs. Ask ooks or Hawkins, they will both tell you. I am not making this up.

It is possible that the person behind that account was visiting one day and used the visitor internet during that visit. Or perhaps they also work here and logged in once from here. The IP's listed are public facing IP's, they do not represent a single person when that IP is hosting a NAP style network behind it. If I wanted to fake my IP I would just use a VPN service for all my accounts, it is super easy to do. I work in IT, so I am at a computer all day long.

If I do that it is sure to help you gain North America and probably turn the tide in favor of informer. Right now I have to balance keeping enough armies in North Africa and Eygpt to hold informer back and try to get rid of dlangy, which is pretty much a losing battle for me since informer is now getting 10 armies per turn.
